Sise

Sise unveils debut collection; Mowaré.

The first collection from Sisè boldly displays diverse textiles and cultural influences, showcasing a harmonious blend of fashion-forward items crafted from organza, adire, brocade, aso-oke, Sakala and more.

Mowaré translates to “I have arrived” in Itsekiri. “This collection announces itself with a bang and draws from the rich tapestry of Nigerian heritage, design, and craftsmanship. The pieces invite wearers to embark on a journey of exploration and experimentation“.

The impressive debut collection is a quirky play on textured fabrics, an organza aso-oke mix, and a standout pleated adire skirt with a unique three-step design featuring different pleat styles and colours (a must-have that one!)

The beaded Tera Tera Sakala vest a limited edition piece created with the Tera Tera weaving technique from the Republic of Niger is a collector’s piece. Each piece has its unique beaded design created at the discretion of our artisans.

The pieces range from blue silk cut-out slip dress with Adire bodice to a Printed organza shirt and draped Adire dress with a cut-out in orange, an organza shirt with print paired with an Aso-Oke fringe skirt.
