Rubbles 2 Roses ushers in a new era of fashion that is gender-neutral

Rubbles 2 Roses

Only recently, Rubbles 2 Roses made a comeback to the Nigerian fashion scene with a daring twist; a gender-fluid collection.

The brand, who before now was known for its creatively tailored womenswear, decided to take a more daring approach towards inclusivity by introducing pieces that defy the conventional gender norms.

At the 9th edition of Men’s Fashion Week Nigeria, Rubbles 2 Roses debuted their new collection with the title “Connecting the Dots.”  This theme perfectly captures the brand’s all new commitment to bridging the gap between fashion and inclusivity.

Beyond their creative design aesthetic, Rubbles 2 Roses is well grounded in sustainability and ethical craftsmanship.

Natural materials like silk, linen, and organic cotton are used in the collection because they are comfortable, breathable, and environmentally friendly. This dedication to eco-friendly methods is consistent with the brand’s general philosophy.

The collection’s gender-neutral items highlight Rubbles 2 Roses’ commitment to individuality and diversity. The brand encourages people to embrace their individual style without boundaries by providing designs that are appropriate for all genders.

Designer Ugochi was first introduced to the thriving Nigerian fashion scene during her internship at Morsi PR. Her enthusiasm for the profession was further stoked by her voluntary work at fashion events such as Africa Fashion Week Nigeria and Arise Fashion Week.

Inspired by the difficult circumstances during the COVID-19 pandemic, Ugochi launched Rubbles 2 Roses. An important turning point in her career was her first runway collection, which was displayed during Menswear Fashion Week Nigeria.

Her capacity to push limits in the fashion industry was demonstrated by the gender-fluid ensembles, which also resonated with the event’s theme.

Rubbles 2 Roses’ latest collection is more than just a fashion statement; it’s a powerful message of inclusivity and self-expression.

With its commitment to sustainability, ethical practices, and gender-fluid designs, the brand is positioning herself to become a force in the Nigerian fashion industry in no distant future.
