Everyone wants clear skin! We have yet to meet anyone who believes otherwise. With clear skin comes picture-perfect makeup and flawless application.
Clear skin is the ideal canvas for foundation; foundation application will be light or non-existent with clean skin. The skin usually reacts to how it is fed. The single reason the skin remains the way it is is due to lifestyle habits, and if yours is ‘tight,’ then your skin should be about right, but if you still struggle to get clearer skin, you may need these simple pointers:
Wash and moisturize your face every single day
It’s simple: never go to bed without properly washing and cleansing your face; if you don’t, the day’s sebum, grits, and grimes will clog your pores and cause breakouts! After that, moisturize to lock in moisture.
Never ever sleep with makeup on
But, of course, you already know not to leave makeup on overnight, if you didn’t already. No matter how tired you are, remove your makeup for the day so that it does not clog your pores, not to mention how bad it will look the next day. Always remove your makeup.
Do not be a product junkie
Stop experimenting with every product you come across. So you don’t end up damaging your skin, get products that work for your skin or are recommended by experts.
Exfoliate and exfoliate some more
Exfoliation is the process of removing dead skin to reveal new skin, resulting in clearer and glowing skin. A light exfoliation every now and then will do wonders for your skin.

Avoid touching your face throughout the day
Please refrain from touching your face! Bacteria (from handling various objects) can easily be transferred from your hand to your face, causing an outbreak. Do not, under any circumstances, touch your face.
Clean Pillowcases
Bacteria from dirty pillowcases, as well as oils from your hair, can easily be transferred to your face, clogging pores and causing breakouts. Change your pillowcases on a regular basis.
Toss expired products
Check the expiry dates on your products; if their shelf life has passed, please discard them.
Don’t pop pimples
If you don’t want to end up with infections and scarring, don’t pop pimples, no matter how difficult it may seem.
Drink Water
Water aids in the removal of toxins and the skin is not forgotten. When you drink enough water, your body ‘feels it,’ and it shows on your skin.
Eat right
Consume plenty of leafy greens. Consume organic foods to see your skin glow from the inside out. Avoid sweets and carbonated beverages.
Don’t stress
Breakouts can sometimes be caused by stress, so take a break when you notice one coming on. If booking a pampering session helps, do so; your skin will thank you.
Wear sunscreen
Wear sunscreen at all times, whether you’re inside or outside. If the skin is not protected from the sun’s rays, it can get damaged.
Which of these do you intend to do? Don’t forget to share the results.
