Lagos Fashion Week 2025, themed “In Full Bloom,” is celebrating 15 years of giving a global platform to African fashion.Â
The moment the global fashion world has been waiting for is finally here! Lagos Fashion Week (LFW) 2025 officially kicks off on October 30th, marking a monumental milestone: its 15th anniversary. Under the vibrant and fitting theme, “In Full Bloom,” this year’s edition celebrates the powerful growth, resilience, and flourishing global influence of African fashion.

From October 30th to November 2nd, the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos will transform into the epicenter of African style, hosting over 60 designers. The 2025 schedule promises a breathtaking showcase of collections that blend ancestral craftsmanship with cutting-edge, contemporary design.
We’re anticipating spectacular spring/summer collections from a list of trailblazing designers, both on-site and offsite.

The enduring success of Lagos Fashion Week is intrinsically linked to its visionary founder, Omoyemi Akerele. For the past decade and a half, Omoyemi Akerele, through LFW and her agency Style House Files, has been instrumental in shifting the global narrative of African fashion.
Her tireless work has elevated African talent from being ’emerging’ to established and innovative on the world stage. By cultivating key international partnerships with institutions like the British Fashion Council, the Victoria & Albert Museum, and Business of Fashion (BoF), she has created a strategic platform that provides African designers with market access, business development, and the crucial international recognition they deserve. LFW is not just a show; it’s a dedicated engine for sustainable industry growth across the continent.
