Oily skin is known for producing endless sebum. It’s also prone to easily attracting dirt and dust to the face. This skin type is characterized by a continuous shine and large pores that tend to be frustrating! It’s that skin type that secretes oil endlessly, especially around the t-zone.

For oily skin types, having a routine to help control oil production without stripping the skin of its moisture is ideal—rather than leaving this skin type unmoisturized, it should be moisturised but with light moisturisers.

Never skip washing/cleansing your face in the morning and at night. Wash your face twice a day with cleansers that contain salicylic acid (you don’t want to overwash the skin at the same time) and other ingredients that help oily skin so that it penetrates into the pores to remove dead skin, dirt etc that clog the pores

Exfoliating

Exfoliating the skin is important because it clears the pores. Make sure to use exfoliants specially formulated for your skin type because harsh particles strip the skin of its natural oils.

Moisturize

You may believe that it isn’t necessary because you have oily skin, but if you don’t moisturise, your skin will produce more oil to compensate for the dryness. Use serums, gels, and moisturisers designed for oily skin.
