4 Amazing Hair Products You Should Own for Your 4b/4c Hair Type

Hi there! I will be sharing my top products to use in styling my 4b/4c edges. From personal experience I have tried several types of hair products that promised to hold my edges down, but unfortunately let me down. I am positive I am not the only person struggling with this situation especially when you want to wear out your natural hair.

As a 4b/4c hair owner, the most important thing to look out for when getting your edge control or wax, is getting the one that promises to hold your edges down and also nourish it.  Here are the 4 types I have used and have not failed.

The Got2B Argan Oil Hair Wax

My absolute favorite! Been using it for the past 2 years and it has not failed. For maximum effect apply it as a final coat on your hair and wrap your hair after application . It grips the edges. It does not leave an colour of cast as well.

The Got2B Ultra Glued

My latest discovery. After using it once and my edges stayed in place! It is now a must have for my hair styling. This works perfectly for slick back hairdo. After styling your hair, apply this to your edges and wrap with a scarf. For best results, use a hair dryer and you are due to get edges that would not move!

Gorilla Snot

If you wish to manipulate your hair style and edges into a complex style then this is the gel for you. Looking exactly like a snot, this product works wonders! All you need to do is apply it generously and style to your desire and wrap you hair in a scarf. Without coming close to water it could last for more than 2 days with little adjustments.

 

Shine n’ Jam Hair Gel

I particularly love this one because it does not leave any white cast on your hair. Mostly it is used for hair gel types but you can also use it to style your edges and it holds well for up to 2 days without a retouch.
