“For BNK we have the Kilba tribe, which is a minority tribe from Adamawa state in the north and the Yoruba tribe from Oyo state.
The Kilba people’s major crop is the groundnut which is represented in the batik fabric. The Kilba people are a proud and graceful people which is something they share with the Yoruba people.
The Yorubas are kin to tradition and pride. They enjoy being the center of attention and they dress the part.
The infusion of the Aso-oke and batik on linen in the collaboration showcases the grace and elegance of both cultures“.
